Pollyanna Poetry
The words of A Repurposed Heart put to the rhythm of emotion. Just another way for me to add a cadence of good into a world that is struggling. They are not meant to be literary masterpeices, just the heartbeats of a girl telling the world a story that rhymes.
Let Me Tell You a Story
Take a stroll along the lands of longing . . . for more poems! There are plenty to choose from, so go any way you would like!
But it was not the goodbye they expected. Sadness shifts to joy and revelation as He proves again and again He is exactly who He says He is. The truth that arrives through these words are still true . . . He never leaves us.
How do you handle the devastation of loss, especially when it is the one you thought would change everything. Little did they know, in that moment . . . He did.
The back and forth of torn hearts reveals the truth of what humans are capable of. But it also clears the path for God to drive the point of grace all the way home.
It is the beginning of the end, but at the end there will be a new beginning. It is both the most complicated presentation of the simplest story. He died for you and then defeated death.
Can you trace the road from where your transformation began? Or where it is going? It is the journey of a lifetime.
Everyone needs to hear they are loved and not alone. I hope this acrostic poem gets the message to those who need it.
Many times we try to make the reasons for our faith long and complicated. But the truth is actually very simple.
My imagination runs a bit wild, but I enjoy it when the stories in my mind lead me to the furtherance of hope.
The struggle to set healthy boundaries in our lives is an ongoing journey that requires encouragement and hope. I hope you find that here.
My honest words bringing you to the rhythm of my life. The ups and downs and the need for reminders that keep us heading toward light.
What does passed on mean? Don’t just think of who we have lost but what they helped us find that we can pass on to someone else.
What is the rhythm of your story? What has composed your journey from the beginning to now? What is the story you tell? Is it true?
We are all looking for our safe haven both here on earth and in heaven. It is a blessing to be able to find them both.
Ahh to live this life, to have this world, I want to be like Don J the squirrel. Do you have a pet you adore?
What would you think if they really do know what you are thinking? Can animals feel the pain you’re holding inside?
